Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Distribution Planner will be part of the Supply Organization of the North America Business Partner Community and will report to the Distribution Planning Manager.

He/She/They will work closely with the brands as long as the supply planning related teams to ensure our inventory is efficiently spread out among our different boutiques/warehouses.

He/She/They will be in charge of replenishment execution, continuous improvement as long as will be accountable for performance KPI’s as stock availability, obsolescence, adherence to projections, & etc.

As the Direct-to-Customer channel experiences unprecedented growth, you'll contribute to the establishment of new processes and the success of boutique openings, making a direct contribution to our thriving business.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Scope: Direct to Customer channel, mainly Parfums Christian Dior, & E-commerce satellite warehouses for LVMH Beauty Brands

Key Responsibilities:

Owner of the KPI presents in the scorecard of our Dior Boutiques & Satellite E-commerce warehouse (service level, replenishment frequency, fulfillment rate, stock coverage, inventory management, & etc.)

  • Opening Order Management:
    • Create and manage opening purchase orders in ePO for the NY team.
    • Assess stock levels to ensure adequate inventory.
    • Manage stock transfers from reserve to fulfill orders.
    • Proactively address and resolve out-of-stock issues.
  • Weekly Replenishment Order Management:
    • Run Autorep (Anaplan or Excel tool) to determine replenishment needs based on demand forecasts and inventory targets.
    • Place weekly replenishment orders to maintain optimal stock levels across all locations.
    • Manage rush and add-on orders to address immediate demands.
  • Communication & Coordination:
    • Communicate shipment requirements to the Distribution Center (DCC) to ensure timely delivery.
    • Actively participate in inventory meetings to provide updates and insights.
    • Collaborate with the NY team and attend boutique meetings to understand specific inventory needs and address operational challenges.
  • Reporting & Analysis:
    • Export and analyze shipping data to track order fulfillment and identify trends.
    • Facilitate cycle counts in boutiques to maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile discrepancies.
    • Generate weekly and monthly inventory and expired stock reports for WC Satellite warehouses to monitor inventory performance.
  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Manage communication related to inventory and order management, ensuring timely and accurate information flow to relevant stakeholders
    • Serve as a backup for the Distribution Manager, providing support and handling specific responsibilities handling their responsibilities as needed

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of experience in supply chain function. with planning & order processing experience is preferred; preferably within the beauty, fashion, or luxury goods industry.
  • Strong analytical, comfort with figures. Advanced proficiency in Excel(incl. date analysis, & pivot table, & reporting) and Power BI report.
  • Proven experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, AX) and advanced planning systems (e.g., Anaplan).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions ; proactive and autonomous.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and handles confidential information with discretion.

Additional Information

LOCATION:  This role is based in our Cranbury, NJ warehouse offices, providing close proximity to our warehouse teams. Regular travel to our New York City offices, one day per week, will be required to collaborate directly with our Retail team.[SC1] [SC2]

While the published salary range is a good faith reflection of the targeted salary level for the position, LVMH Inc. reserves the right to pay outside of the published salary range of $70,000.00 - $90,000.00.
